After a collision on Tuesdays game Cristian Valdez has developed a blood-clot which should have him out of the game for at least the next 5 games.
Intensive treatment is being given to him for his recovery.
Meanwhile, Jonny Starns should most-likely take his position for the next few games.
Losing an effective player on the left side was not anticipated and now the trouble of finding speed like that of the Cubans is difficult. His passing and and fleeting speed on sprinting runs will be keenly felt, as well as his strength in fighting for the ball.
Its fortunate that the Hurricanes don't have a game for a week, thus giving time for Valdez to heal.
